There’s nothing quite like letting 12 girls between the ages of 6 and 12 loose in a studio full of treasures, paint, glue, ribbons and inspiration! What a blast to watch them create! The energy level tipped the Richtor scale. They were intensely engaged to say the least.
Our project? Altering books that became Secret Journals. Each page, even the cover, contained a pocket, envelope, or hidden door behind which the girls could write their thoughts. Paint and glue were flying everywhere, but surprisingly mostly in the right places. I’ll post a few here and if you’d like to see the rest, go to my Flickr page.
