Home >> raining pouring snowing
January 6, 2009
So much to do, not much to say, too tired to think. That pretty much sums up the past few weeks. Life is raining down with an impossible “to-do” list. I go to another room to get something and completely forget why I’m standing there at least once a day. If I don’t chant to myself on the way, I can’t hold the thought. Then mix in a few holidays and I have had no idea what day its been for at least 2 weeks! Is this old age or too much to think about? As much as I love Christmas, I’m glad that we’ve climbed up and down that mountain and are moving forward. My big hurdles are a humongous freelance job, Nathan’s tonsilectemy tomorrow, and moving…a process that is slower than molasses in January.
Snow is lightly flying around outside, brightening up the gray winter. A candle is burning in the kitchen, sending off a warm sweet aroma of spice. Nathan is dancing on the back porch to an old River Dance video. And I’m taking a tiny moment to ramble… gotta run, chanting as I go…it’s Tuesday, it’s Tuesday, it’s Tuesday.
