Merry Christmas and happy birthday
Christmas Eve
The beanbags didn’t get wrapped, just topped with stuffed stockings. They are a hit. Miika and Nathan LOVE them, whew….
Happy 3rd birthday to Nathan…his birthday is actually today, but we celebrate when everyone is over for Christmas…his real second party will be tonight.
My mom really wasn’t as horrified as she looks…they were just warm [...]
lost and found soul
I’m on a quest. I’ve lost something along the way. Life has chipped away at the jewels that make life sparkle.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I believe deeply in truth that sets men and women free. But for a creative person like myself, the demands of life have robbed me of some very essential elements. [...]

downsizing and efficient space
It’s hard to believe that this is what we’ll call home in a few weeks!
But we will…
To recap, we’re going from a 5 bedroom, 3 bath house to a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. Two garage sales and 10 van loads full of stuff donated to thrift stores, and we still have a lot more [...]
origins
Recently our adult Sunday school class had three weeks of discussions about Creationism vs. Evolution. It surprised me that our class was actually divided on the issue and a bit tense. I think everyone agreed that God indeed created everything and that humans have not evolved from apes, but the division came, in how long [...]
