I took Amy’s suggestion to try to make mittens out of the arms/cuffs, but they didn’t turn out right…gotta try again. I learned something. If the seams are in the inside, you can feel the edge and it’s kind of annoying. Also, the thumb needs to be EXTRA big. Well, I checked a great site that sells “lost and found mittens” made from old sweaters and noticed that the mittens look like they are wrong-side-out:
Now I know why, so your fingers can’t feel the scruffy seams inside….
