Home >> saying goodbye
April 28, 2008
We went to Ashtabula to say goodbye to our beloved Cyndy. Many thanks to Rose for taking some wonderful photos. The sadness is still overwhelming and paralyzing. We’re back home, but not back to normal. There’s so much to work to do, but the emotional energy supply to do it is on empty. I know that Cyndy is at peace but I just wish that she never had to travel the cancer road.
Here we are in the Giggle House garden (a beautiful little guest house graciously provided by Cyndy’s cousins Cassy & Larry). My mom came along for support. She lost her dear friend Miro almost a year ago, so she tried to be there for my dad in his time of grief. This will be a long road for all of us.
