At our house there’s a constant need to create. Miika is always aware of the next holiday and pushes to make “decorations” for whatever is coming…so…here are her Easter baskets for the dinner table. She wants each person who will dine at our table to have a little basket of eggs w/ their name in it. These are made from Sculpey. What a great product! Just bake it in the oven at 275 degrees for 15 minutes.
On days when we don’ t have to go anywhere, it’s a constant struggle to keep the TV off. I don’t mind if she watches an hour or so, but she would sit and worship the thing all day if I let her. So, we have about 1000 crafty possibilities everywhere. So far, Sculpey and plain old modeling clay have been the magic trick to keep her busy for hours. She has made 8 baskets and about 30 little eggs so far. We are also making dishes for her doll house.
Well, now mommy has to go draw a map and whip out a postcard and an ad today…
